Background info

Like a lot of scholars, Anna grew up in Sharlayan, where she became an Archon. Her main studies were in botany and alchemy, with music theory on the side.After graduation she moved to Eorzea, though she won't tell you how long ago that was. What is clear, however, is that she's taken quickly to her work life and she seems pleased as punch about it.
